Llamda

About the Empire, it's Kingdoms and rulers

This page is going to be about the rise and fall of Llamda - the history of my character Deanna and her first birth as Gràís D’hè MàcBhàtàr. I'll also add in about her second rebirth as Anant/Anjali - this will coincide with the second set of short stories

History

The Kingdom of Llamda

  • Geography: Llamda is located in a strategically important region, with rugged mountains to the north, dense forests to the west (home to the Elven nation), and fertile plains to the south. The kingdom’s capital, Rhadon, is a well-fortified city that serves as the center of commerce, culture, and military operations.

  • Culture: The people of Llamda are hardy and resilient, shaped by the constant threat of war. They have a strong warrior tradition, but they also value knowledge, art, and craftsmanship. The kingdom is known for its skilled blacksmiths, who forge weapons and armor of legendary quality.

Rivals and Threats

  • The Rival Kingdoms: Llamda is surrounded by several rival kingdoms, each with its own agenda. Some seek to conquer Llamda outright, while others aim to destabilize it through subterfuge and espionage. These kingdoms have forged temporary alliances against Llamda, though their own ambitions often lead to conflicts among them.

  • The Dark Forces: Beyond the rival kingdoms, a darker threat looms. Rumors speak of a shadowy force manipulating events behind the scenes, sowing discord among the kingdoms. This force could be an ancient evil, a forgotten god, or a powerful sorcerer with ambitions that extend beyond the world itself.

Alliances

  • The Elven Nation: The Elves of the western forests are a reclusive and ancient people with their own magic and traditions. Antor’s alliance with them is one of mutual respect. The Elves provide magical support and elite archers, while Llamda offers military aid and protection of their borders. The alliance is not without tension, as the Elves value their independence and are wary of becoming too entangled in human affairs.

  • The Allied Kingdoms: Antor has forged alliances with two other kingdoms, Talarion and Valoria. Talarion is known for its naval power, controlling the seas to the east. Veloria, on the other hand, is a land of scholars and wizards, contributing knowledge and magical artifacts to the alliance. These alliances are crucial for Llamda’s survival but require delicate diplomacy to maintain.
